Like the new Vortec Bow-Tie head, this original Bow-Tie head features no heat riser passage, induction hardened exhaust seats and is machined for screw-in studs.

A stock Bow-Tie head flows 212 cfm intake and 140 cfm on the exhaust. With our “UnderCover Porting” air flow is increased to 235 to 240 cfm intake and 160 cfm exhaust.

For applications that call for an even larger port, such as 4 barrel carb, aluminum intake and 7,000 rpm, we can add a few operations to the “UnderCover Porting” and achieve over 255 cfm of intake air flow with a stock looking port. This makes for an awesome head for maximum torque applications.

A CNC Sportsman Ported Bow-Tie head will flow 260-265 cfm intake and 185 cfm exhaust.

Our complete Bow-Tie heads have APR rocker studs, guide plates, hardened spring locators, Ferrea valves, Isky springs, CV Products chrome moly retainers & locks. The castings are pressure tested and a flow bench developed Serdi valve job specifically for the Bow-Tie heads is performed.
